But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.
I hear people all of the time arguing about how God does things! One will say God did this first and the other will say God did that first. Someone will say that a person did something wrong and God punished them for it while others will say that God just allowed it to happen. I am all the time hearing arguments about how God made the world. Did he do this first or did he do that? I hear Christians trying to prove that God exists. They try to prove the way the earth was created. They try to explain everything that God has ever done!
I don't understand the need to try to prove God or what he has done. I truly believe that it is all about faith. If we were able to fully understand God and all of his ways then there would be know need for faith! God wants us to believe in him even if we don't understand him! He wants us to trust in him, to have faith in him, and believe in him even if we can not see him or prove his existence! We must believe that God created us and this world! Does it really matter how? The fact is that God make us and he loves us! We must have faith and truly believe no matter what!
Dear Lord, Our prayer is but a simple one. Give us the faith that we need! Please help us not to feel as if we need proof of everything. Pleas let us have the faith of a child. Let us know that you love us and that is all that we need. It is in faith that we pray this prayer and thank you this day. Amen.
