The Scripture:

Ephesians 4:26

Be ye angry, and sin not: let not the sun go down upon your wrath:!

Our thoughts:

We all get angry sometimes. Things don't go the way we think they should or someone says or does something wrong to us. Someone hurts us and we feel as if we have to hurt them back! Although we all get angry, we must think before we act! The worst thing we can do is to do something out of anger. My mother always told me to count to ten before I acted on my anger. I have found that sometimes ten is not enough. Sometimes it takes twenty, fifty, or even one hundred. One final point! Remember that sometimes words spoke out of anger can be just as bad as physical retaliation! Please when you get angry, think before you act.

Our prayer for you:

Dear Lord, please help us not to act in a way that is unpleasing to you. Help us to say and do the things that we should. Help us to not react to situations out of anger but to take the time to pray and ask you for your guidance in every situation. In Jesus name we pray, Amen.
